Jasmine Green Tea is one of WECHA's most loved products — green tea leaves scented with natural fresh jasmine flowers until every leaf is steeped in fragrance. A cup that is rustic yet refined, capturing the gentle grace of Vietnamese floral aromas. It is a soft beginning for anyone wanting to step into the world of tea.
A clear green-gold liquor with a soft, naturally floral jasmine aroma. The taste is fresh and clean, with a smooth, gentle astringency that is never harsh, leaving a light sweet finish at the back of the throat.
Key benefits
Ingredients & nutrition
Ingredients
Green tea scented with natural jasmine flowers (green tea leaves + jasmine flowers).
Nutrition
Brewed without added sugar, the tea has virtually no calories; it contains a light level of natural caffeine and the antioxidants (polyphenols, catechins) naturally found in green tea. Detailed figures vary depending on how you brew it (amount of tea, water, steeping time, and any toppings you add).
* For reference only; not a substitute for medical advice. Nutrition varies with brewing method and amount of sugar/milk.
How to brew at home
Water temp
75-85°C (do not use boiling water at 100°C for green tea, to avoid making it bitter and astringent)
Tea : water ratio
2-3g of tea (about 1 teaspoon) for 200-250ml of water
Steep time
Steep 1-2 minutes for the first infusion; you can re-brew 2-3 infusions, slightly increasing the time each time
Tip: Rinse the tea quickly for 5 seconds with warm water and pour it off before brewing — this lets the leaves 'wake up' and the jasmine aroma open up more fully.
