Refined bergamot orange aroma over an irresistible milk tea base
Earl Grey Black Tea is a black tea scented with bergamot orange oil — a tea associated with relaxing English afternoons. WECHA chooses a plain, full-bodied black tea base so that when it meets the bright bergamot aroma, it still retains the tea's complete, rounded character. An elegant yet approachable cup, perfect both served hot and reinvented into a fragrant glass of milk tea.
A glossy amber-colored brew, releasing an elegant bergamot orange aroma blended with a rich black tea flavor and a light astringency. The finish is gently sweet, with the orange aroma lingering long in the throat.
Key benefits
Ingredients & nutrition
Ingredients
Black tea scented with natural bergamot orange oil.
Nutrition
Brewed plain without added sugar, the tea is very low in calories; black tea contains natural caffeine and antioxidants. Detailed nutrition figures depend on how you prepare it (the amount of tea, sugar, and milk you add).

How to brew at home
Water temp
95-100°C (just-boiled water) — black tea handles high heat so the bergamot aroma can fully open up
Tea : water ratio
2-3g of tea per 200-250ml of water (about one heaping teaspoon)
Steep time
Steep for 3-4 minutes. For a milk tea base, steep stronger, 4-5 minutes
Tip: Don't steep too long, as black tea turns harshly astringent easily. For an English-style hot cup, add a splash of fresh milk; for a milk tea base, steep it strong and then let it infuse with the milk.
