Key benefits
Ingredients & nutrition
Ingredients
Green tea, ginger (dried/shredded). No preservatives, no synthetic flavorings.
Nutrition
Brewed plain with no added sugar, it has virtually negligible calories; green tea contains a mild level of natural caffeine and the polyphenol group of antioxidants, while ginger adds a naturally warm, spicy note. Detailed nutritional figures depend on how you brew it and how much sugar or milk you add.

How to brew at home
Water temp
80-85°C (a green-tea base; avoid boiling water at 100°C to prevent bitterness and to preserve the ginger aroma)
Tea : water ratio
2-2.5g of ginger tea for about 200-250ml of water
Steep time
Steep 2-3 minutes; you can re-steep a 2nd or 3rd time, slightly increasing the time each round
Tip: In cold weather, add a few crushed slices of fresh ginger to bring out more aroma; for a milder taste, stir in a little molasses or rock sugar after pouring (do not steep them together).
