Pandan Green Tea
RT-00056
Trà xanh ướp lá dứa, hương thơm đặc trưng Việt Nam.
The aroma of homegrown pandan, in every sip of cool green tea.
Pandan is a scent familiar to every Vietnamese kitchen — sweet, rustic, evoking memories of old-day sweet soups and sticky rice. WECHA brings that pandan fragrance into green tea leaves, creating a cup that is both refreshing and rich with the flavor of home. A small cup of tea, just enough to slow down and feel your heart settle.
A clear green tea liquor with a pale golden hue, releasing the gently sweet pandan aroma so characteristic of Vietnam. The taste is light and clean, with a soft astringency at the tip of the tongue that turns into a cool sweet aftertaste, leaving behind a pleasant, rustic pandan note.
Key benefits
Ingredients & nutrition
Ingredients
Vietnamese green tea scented with natural pandan aroma.
Nutrition
A light, refreshing drink, low in energy when brewed plain without added sugar; it contains natural caffeine and the antioxidants inherent in green tea. Detailed figures depend on how it is prepared (the amount of tea, sugar, and any added milk).
* For reference only; not a substitute for medical advice. Nutrition varies with brewing method and amount of sugar/milk.
How to brew at home
Water temp
75-85°C (green tea — do not use 100°C boiling water, to avoid harsh astringency and to preserve the pandan aroma)
Tea : water ratio
2-3g of tea per 200-250ml of water (about one heaped teaspoon)
Steep time
Steep 2-3 minutes for the first infusion; steep later infusions 30-60 seconds longer
Tip: Rinse the tea quickly for 5-10 seconds with hot water and pour it away before steeping, so the leaves open evenly and any dust is washed off. Once brewed, pour it all out — don't let the tea soak in the pot, or it will turn bitter and lose the pandan aroma.
