Roasted Rice Oolong
RT-00051
Ô long kết hợp gạo lứt rang & matcha Nhật, hương rang ấm.
Warm roasted-rice aroma, smooth oolong flavor — rustic yet refined.
A cup of tea that recalls the scent of a country kitchen on the day rice is roasted. WECHA steeps oolong together with golden roasted brown rice and a touch of Japanese matcha, so the smooth flavor of the oolong blends with the warm aroma of roasted young rice. Rustic yet refined, familiar yet new — a tea for those moments when you slow down in the middle of the day.
An amber-tinged golden brew, releasing a roasted brown-rice aroma as fragrant as fresh young rice and upland sticky rice. The oolong tastes smooth, with a light natural creaminess from the matcha, and a gentle, warm sweet finish — pleasant whether served hot or iced.

How to brew at home
Water temp
90-95°C — the right temperature for oolong, hot enough to open up the roasted-rice aroma without making the matcha turn bitter (let boiled water cool for about 1-2 minutes)
Tea : water ratio
About 3-4g of tea (1 heaping tablespoon) for 250-300ml of water
Steep time
Steep 2-3 minutes for the first infusion. The oolong leaves can be re-steeped 2-3 times, adding 30-60 seconds to each subsequent infusion
Tip: Rinse the tea quickly with hot water for 5 seconds and pour it off before steeping — this both cleans the leaves and awakens the roasted-rice aroma. Don't let the water exceed 95°C or the matcha portion will turn bitter.
